Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course, commonly referred to as the Nitrox Diver course, is designed to certify divers to use enriched air (nitrox) mixes containing higher oxygen levels than standard air, offering extended no-decompression limits and shorter surface intervals. This course covers topics such as dive planning, gas management, oxygen exposure limits, and equipment considerations specific to nitrox diving. Through a combination of theory sessions, practical applications, and dive simulations, participants learn how to analyze nitrox mixtures, calculate maximum operating depths, and safely dive with enriched air to enhance their underwater experiences while managing risks associated with oxygen exposure.
