Rescue Diver
Rewarding and fun best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.
Here in Colorado EVERY dive is an ALTITUDE DIVE. So, we recommend integrating the Altitude Diver Specialty into your Rescue Diver package. The cost is only an additional $100 and two extra dives.
Please ask for the Altitude Diver specialty to be included in your Rescue Diver certification package!

In the unlikely event that you should need to lend assistance to another diver, this course combines theory and practical application to bring a new awareness to the newly certified PADI rescue diver. The theory portion will cover self-rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, and the ever-important equipment considerations. In a few evening sessions and 2 half days at the ocean you can earn this exciting and valuble certification.
The Rescue Diver Crew-Pak contains everything you'll need to complete the course. The PADI Rescue Diver Manual is a reference to what you've learned. The PADI Rescue Diver Video starts your training independently. The video supports the manual and shows you live-action demonstrations of skills. This complements the Professional Video that may be shown at your course. The PADI Rescue Diver emblem and Rescue Diver wall certificate are included in each Rescue Diver Crew-Pak.
Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months is required for the PADI Rescue Diver certification. Planet Scuba offers this training in our Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses.
The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses, beginning with the PADI Divemaster certification.
